What does sustainability mean to us?

At Janssen Riotech, we are actively committed to reducing our CO₂ emissions and making our business operations more sustainable. For example, we use our own water well, which means we do not have to use precious drinking water to clean valves. We are also investing in electric vehicles: our fleet now includes several electric buses, and employees can use charging stations on our premises. In this way, we not only encourage sustainable transport, but also make it concrete and accessible for our team. In addition, we generate a large part of our energy ourselves via solar panels on our company premises. All these steps contribute to a lower ecological footprint and form an important part of our position on the CO₂ performance ladder.

We are also working on improving our processes, products and our impact on the environment. That is why we are actively committed to the CO₂ Performance Ladder – a tool that helps us gain insight into our CO₂ emissions and reduce them structurally.

For us, sustainability is not a buzzword, but a responsibility. By working according to the principles of the CO₂ Performance Ladder, we demonstrate not only commitment, but also decisiveness.

By participating in the CO₂ performance ladder, we will:

  • Accurately map our CO₂ emissions
  • Take active steps to reduce these emissions
  • Communicate transparently about our progress
  • Collaborate with partners and clients who value sustainability

As a customer or partner, you benefit from an organisation that works consciously and efficiently. By focusing on CO₂ reduction, we not only reduce our own environmental impact, but also contribute to more sustainable chains, projects and tenders.
